Equesure Insurance is thrilled to be partnering with a renowned Tonbridge based equine duo, Janine Lamy and Martin Wright, who make the formidable Team Lamy Wright.
The married couple are industry powerhouses. Janine is one of the region’s most recognised coaches, specialising in flatwork, show jumping and cross-country training, and Martin is well known locally as an amateur eventer and a member of the British Eventing Rider Working Group around his day job, competing regularly at British Eventing 100cms level.
Team Lamy Wright are passionate about nurturing talent and train grassroots competitors up to British Eventing level. Based with Louisa Day at her Carmen Court yard near Tonbridge, Janine hosts regular show jumping clinics from April to August and indoor ones during the winter at Four Elms Farm near Edenbridge, in addition to travelling around the South East for private and group lessons.
“Janine and Martin are truly dedicated to our community and getting the best out of riders and their horses. Their beliefs and values match ours and I’m excited to be working with them.” says Equesure’s, Maurice Gosney.
“At Equesure, all our staff either own, loan or ride horses regularly so appreciate the time, love and care they need. We truly understand the industry and pride ourselves on arranging the best cover we can to offer our customers peace of mind.”
Janine comments: “We are thrilled to be sponsored by Equesure Insurance; a lovely team at the end of the phone who care about the problem you may be facing. We are very much looking forward to developing our partnership with them through 2022.”

Is it spring yet? It’s been teasing us the last few days, going from a few dry days when I could walk across most of the field and it felt like spring, to heavy downpours, including hail, which reverted the field back to a quagmire. I didn’t let it put me off too much, though, and I’ve now managed to get all three horses back into work! Eek!
I can’t believe it has only been just over two weeks since Freya arrived! She’s kept her calm temperament, although does have her cheeky moments with her being a baby, and now discovering what treats are (my own fault!).
Following on from the previous blog, Diva and I were taking part in a clinic held by Lisa Dixon of Freelance Equine – Trick Training and Horsemanship at Truesdale Equestrian Centre.
