The essence of this role is to handle inbound and outbound telephone calls from prospective and existing customers of Equesure and help meet sales targets and growth plans for 2021 and beyond. Full scripted tele-sales training provided and no cold calling.

We offer a competitive salary which increases periodically during first 18 months of service. You will be working in a target driven environment with a monthly bonus paid based on weekly call quality audits, essentially, the more calls you can make the higher the bonus!

There will be an opportunity once fully trained to attend equine events, if you wish, to promote Equesure which are always great fun, especially working with like-minded colleagues. There will be progression opportunities for the right candidate as the business grows.



  • Provide Insurance quotations and secure sales for Horse Insurance (vet fees, liability, saddlery & tack etc), Horse Rider Insurance, Horse Trailer Insurance and Horsebox Insurance policies.
  • Handle inbound and make outbound calls to prospective and existing Equesure clients.
  • Follow sales script to ensure all calls are handled compliantly and in line with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) rules. 
  • Manage your own and the Equesure calendar of ‘call backs’. If a client wants a call back to take cover the employee must ensure these call backs are logged / followed up
  • Pass quality assurance audits each month to a minimum of 90% pass rate
  • Once trained the employee will be expected to meet the sales targets set by your Team Manager each month.
  • Service existing clients calling Equesure with basic customer requests such as cancelling a policy, claim forms requested etc. and ensuring that client file notes are added and the requests are communicated to the customer service team.


Candidate Requirements

  • Must be self motivated, confident and have the desire to succeed in a target driven sales environment
  • Must have a strong equine background
  • Good telephone manner (although full tele-sales training will be provided)
  • Good computer literacy skills (typing, word, excel, etc.)
  • Good Numeracy skills to minimum GCSE standard
  • Good Literacy skills to minimum GCSE standard
  • Good communication skills
  • Punctual
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage own workload and calendar of callbacks
  • Insurance background preferred but not essential as training is provided
