Important Communication: Brexit and Driving in Europe

We are keeping a very close eye on all the latest Brexit news and working closely with our insurers to ensure our customers interests are looked after. This includes putting processes in place to issue Green Cards should these become a legal requirement.

The insurers are unable to confirm anything further at this time as this is all dependent on UK and EU government negotiations.

We also recommend you visit Gov.UK and search for ‘Prepare to drive in the EU after
Brexit’ to keep up to date with the latest advice from the government”

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/prepare-to-drive-in-the-eu-after-brexit#requirements-for-alluk-drivers-when-driving-abroad-from-29-march-2019

We have detailed a diagram below to offer a clear process to follow in either event. Please note, an administration cost for the issue of the Green Card may apply.

Should you require any further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
